Perth County OPP is investigating after they say a young person was offered a ride by a suspicious person in Listowel.
Last Wednesday, police say a 14-year-old girl was waiting for a ride when a suspicious man pulled up and asked her for directions.
He said he was looking to pick up some items he bought online and after the girl looked up the directions on her phone the suspect then asked her several times to get into the vehicle.
She said no and the man eventually drove away.
He is described as having brown skin, possibly in his 30s, 6’feet tall with an average build, and his vehicle is described as a white Nissan Pathfinder or Infinity WX.
Anyone with information on what happened is asked to call the police or Crime Stoppers.
