Stratford woman part of Canadian Opera Company competition

The Canadian Opera Company’s vocal competition is happening tomorrow night in Toronto.

This year’s competition features a woman from Stratford.

She’s soprano Eliza Johnson.

Johnson says growing up in an artistic town like this influenced her decision to become a performer:

She says they’ll each have plenty of opportunity to showcase their talents:

Johnson is taking on six others in the competition.

They’re vying for cash prizes ranging from $1,500 to $5,000.
