The Canadian Opera Company’s vocal competition is happening tomorrow night in Toronto.
This year’s competition features a woman from Stratford.
She’s soprano Eliza Johnson.
Johnson says growing up in an artistic town like this influenced her decision to become a performer:

Johnson is taking on six others in the competition.
They’re vying for cash prizes ranging from $1,500 to $5,000.
The competition itself is happening at the Four Seasons Centre for the Performing Arts.
