Perth County OPP introduces new Detachment Commander

The Perth County OPP has a new Detachment Commander.

Inspector Wendy Burrow officially took over command on June 1st after serving in the position on an interim basis for several months.

Burrow has been a member of the OPP since 1998 and has served in several different detachments as well as having been recognized with a number of different awards.

She says she’s excited to help educate Perth County residents on important issues.

“Engaging the public in learning more about fraud prevention, or whether it’s talking about safe driving behavior including looking to reduce impaired driving.”

Burrows says her mother still lives in the region and her father is the former Crown Attorney making it a homecoming for her.
