Not many details are known after police say human remains were discovered in Zorra Township.
Oxford County OPP say they were called out to the discovery of the remains just before 5 o’clock Monday afternoon.
The Oxford OPP Major Crime Unit and Forensic Identification Service, in partnership with the Office of the Chief Coroner of Ontario, is investigating.
A post-mortem examination will be conducted to attempt to identify the remains and determine a cause of death.
Investigators say they believe this is an isolated incident and there is no threat to public safety.
More information will be released when it becomes available.
