A Hensall resident is dead after a collision southwest of the community.
First responders were called out to the single-vehicle crash on Rodgerville Road near Ausable Line shortly after 7 o’clock Tuesday night.
Police say they found a heavily damaged pickup truck that had collided with a concrete bridge abutment.
The driver and lone occupant of the vehicle, 27-year-old Evan Dickins, was pronounced dead at the scene.
The bridge on Rodgerville Road has been temporarily closed as a result of damage sustained in the collision.
Anyone with information on the crash is asked to call OPP or Crime Stoppers.
