The city is hosting a music celebration in Market Square from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. with everything from entertainment to food trucks included.

People headed to the events are encouraged to wear colors of community support with red and white for Canadiana, blue and yellow to show support for Ukraine, orange as a symbol of solidarity in Truth and Reconciliation, and rainbow colors to celebrate LGBTQ+ pride.

The Stratford and District Saddle Club is putting on the Canada Day parade which starts at 6 p.m. from the corner of Lakeside Drive and Waterloo Street.

Finally, the Kinsmen Club of Stratford is hosting a music concert, food vendors, and fireworks at the Stratford Education and Recreation Centre near Matilda Street and Oakdale Avenue, beginning at 8 o’clock.
