Police: Two Grade 12 students responsible for smoke-bomb at area school

Two students will take part in a community program after police say they set off a smoke bomb at a school in the city.

Stratford Police say the students set off the smoke bomb in a garbage can at Stratford District Secondary School on the afternoon of June 22nd.

Smoke filled the entire hallway at the school and everyone in the building was forced to evacuate with the Stratford Fire Department having to respond.

The students responsible were later identified, according to SPS.

SPS says the two Grade 12 students both took responsibility for the year-end prank and they will take part in the program, which includes community-service work, instead of facing charges.
