Perth-Wellington’s MPP has another responsibility to add to his tasks.
Matthew Rae has been appointed to the role of Parliamentary Assistant to the Minister of Education Stephen Lecce.
Rae joins Patrice Barnes, MPP for Ajax, as the two PAs to the Minister of Education.
PA’s principally assist their respective minister in their legislative duties but may also assist in extra-parliamentary activities such as engaging in policy formation.
Rae was officially sworn into his MPP position with Premier Doug Ford’s PC Party last week.
