A 20-year-old Perth South man faces a raft of charges including Assaulting a Peace Officer with a weapon.
Perth County OPP says the charges were laid after they were called to a business on Line 34 in Perth East about a reported break, enter and theft.
The business is equipped with a monitored security system and police were alerted after a motion alarm was set off.
They say the suspect was arrested while leaving the area with a bag containing stolen property from the business.
He was held in custody pending a bail hearing.
