Perth-Wellington MPP announces funding for local festivals and events

Over $496,000 in funding is on the way from the province to festivals and events in our area.

The money is coming from the Reconnect Ontario grant program that supports festivals and events that encourage local tourism and motivate visitors to rediscover Ontario.

The events also reconnect people with local experiences and increase tourism spending.

“Tourism is a key component of Perth-Wellington’s economy,” said Perth-Wellington MPP Matthew Rae. “Ensuring they have adequate resources will always be one of my top priorities.”

Here is the full list of events that will receive funding.
