A COVID-19 outbreak at the St.Marys Memorial Hospital has been declared over.
The outbreak was first declared on September 2nd in the Inpatient Unit at the hospital.
Huron Perth Healthcare Alliance CEO Andrew Williams says upon declaring the outbreak, immediate precautions were implemented, including prevalence testing on team members and patients.
Now that Huron Perth Public Health has declared it over, the unit has been reopened to admissions and transfers.
Family and caregivers are also allowed to visit patients once again.
