BREAKING: Police identify person killed in collision near Listowel

UPDATE: 2:40 P.M. Monday

Police have now identified the person killed in a two-vehicle collision near Listowel.

First responders were called out to Perth Line 86 around 5 o’clock Friday afternoon after a collision between a sedan and a commercial motor vehicle.

The driver of the sedan was pronounced dead at the scene and they have now been identified as 48-year-old Jason Goll from Gowanstown.

The investigation into what happened continues.

Perth County OPP says one person is dead after a collision in North Perth.

First responders were called out to Perth Line 86 around 5 o’clock Friday afternoon after a collision between a sedan and a commercial motor vehicle.

Police say the driver of the sedan, a 48-year-old male, was pronounced dead at the scene.

The name of the person who died is not being released at this time.

The investigation into what happened continues.
