Police search for Good Samaritans in Tim Hortons Boxing Day assault

A 63-year-old man was beaten badly on Boxing Day at a Tim Horton’s drive-thru.

Police would like to track down the four males who came to his rescue.

The Oxford County OPP was called to investigate an assault at the Tim Horton’s parking lot, located on Highway 59 in Norwich shortly after 8:00am on December 26th.

The victim was pulled out of his vehicle and assaulted by an unknown male on foot.

The victim received serious facial injuries.

The 33-year-old suspect returned to Tim Horton’s a short time later.

He was arrested and charged with aggravated assault by the OPP.

Police ask that the four males that came to the aid of the victim prior to police arrival and any witnesses who have not yet spoken to police about this incident, to please contact the Oxford County OPP Crime Unit at 1-519-688-6540 or OPP 1-888-310-1122.
