St.Marys Memorial Hospital moving ahead with renewal project

The St.Marys Memorial Hospital is set to undergo one of its largest transformations in history.

Huron Perth Healthcare Alliance officials say the patient room renewal project will be going ahead in 2023 thanks to the support of the St.Marys Healthcare Foundation.

The two-year project will see a number of improvements made to the inpatient care areas with the total cost of the work totaling over $7.6 million.

The foundation has already contributed $2 million with the foundation hoping to raise $3 million through the Here for You Today, Building for Tomorrow campaign, bringing their total contribution to $5 million.

The HPHA will contribute the remaining amount.
