Damage from a fire in Mitchell could be in the neighborhood of $1,000,000.
That’s according to West Perth Fire Chief Bill Hunter.
The fire at a Perth County public works shed last Friday destroyed the building, a snow plow and two pickup trucks.
In an interview this morning Chief Hunter said crews managed to contain the blaze, but one firefighter was hurt.
The firefighter was treated at hospital and returned to the fire later.
