A crash near Stratford has led to charges for a Perth East Man.
On New Year’s Eve OPP officers were called to the two vehicle crash at the intersection of Line 29 and Road 125 southwest of the city.
Police say a pickup truck T-boned a Jeep carrying a West Perth family and then left the scene.
No one in the Jeep was hurt.
Police spotted the truck a short while later and arrested the driver.
The 19-year-old was charged with possession of marijuana along with three traffic offenses.
He’s scheduled to appear in court in Stratford on February 10th.
