There’s some good news if you plan on doing some holiday shopping in downtown Stratford this weekend.
Drivers can park for free for four hours in the downtown core on Saturdays beginning this weekend.
You won’t have to pay for the parking metres or machines for your first four hours.
After the four hours of free parking, motorists are required to pay the respective meter, machine, or via the HotSpot app.
All other provisions of the City’s Traffic and Parking By-law still apply, including maximum parking time limits.
The free hours will be in place on Saturdays until April 29th.
