You’re being asked to consider opening your heart and home to a new family member this holiday season.
The Humane Society of Kitchener Waterloo and Stratford Perth is encouraging community members to adopt one of the 40 dogs it currently has in its care.
HSKWSP officials say they have a much higher number of dogs looking for families this holiday season than in the past and are urging people to consider adopting rather than buying a new dog.
The humane society is also running a promotion where they have reduced adoption fees for certain dogs to find them homes for the holidays, fees are now reduced by either 25% or 50% for select dogs.
