Hydro goes out for 1653 local residents

Over 1600 Hydro One customers in the region lost their power this morning.

The lights went out in Oxford North, South-West Oxford and parts of Dorchester at 2:38am.

The power was restored at 4:11am today.

Hydro One says equipment failure caused the outage.
