UPDATE: Police looking for video surveillance in area of Stratford Shooting

UPDATE:  Thursday, December 21 8:45 am

Stratford Police Service is asking residents in the area of a shooting Tuesday to check their video surveillance for anything of interest.

On Tuesday night, an unknown male suspect discharged his firearm at a victim outside his residence on Stratford Street.  The victim suffered non-life-threatening injuries.

Police believe the shooting was targeted and there is no danger to the public.

The suspect then fled the scene in a white vehicle, which could be a Chevrolet Monte Carlo. The suspect then travelled south on Stratford Street, turned right on Cambria Street toward Erie Street.

Police are asking anyone with video surveillance in those areas to review their video and call police if anything of interest is found.
