Schools will be closed across Perth County Friday.
Both the Avon Maitland District School Board and the Huron Perth Catholic District School Board made the announcement Thursday afternoon in anticipation of the serious winter storm bearing down on the area overnight Thursday and Friday.
Staff from both boards will be posting asynchronous activities on Google classroom but attendance will not be taken.
