Stratford martial arts instructor to be back in court in March

The case of a Stratford martial arts instructor charged in a child pornography investigation will be back in court in March.

Sixty-one-year-old Don Charles “Chuck” Hasson was represented during a brief court appearance in Stratford Monday morning by lawyer Michael Coristine.

Coristine asked for the case to be brought back on March 6th so that he can receive disclosure.

He tells the MyStratfordNow.com Newsroom that Hasson will be pleading not guilty.

Lambton County OPP says Hasson was arrested on December 20th, 2022, and charged with making child pornography as part of an online child sexual exploitation investigation.

Hasson is the owner of Hasson Dojo which has locations in Stratford and Thedford, with the local business having opened in 1996.

A publication ban has been put in place for the court case therefore many details will not be revealed.
