Provincial funding paves the way for Milverton All Wheels Park to be built

It’s full steam ahead for an all wheels park in Milverton.

Perth-Wellington MPP Matthew Rae says the Township of Perth East will receive $115,000 in funding to build the park.

Milverton All Wheels Park Committee Member and Mornington Optimist, Tricia Holmes Storey tells the MyStratfordNow.com Newsroom that, with the provincial funding, the park will be built this spring with its design currently being drafted.

The money from the province is coming from the Ontario Trillium Fund’s Capital Grant Stream.

“The Township of Perth East is very happy to have received a grant from the Ontario Trillium Foundation,” Perth County Warden and Perth East Mayor, Rhonda Ehgoetz said. “The money will be put toward an All Wheels Park in Milverton.  Many people are looking forward to the All Wheels Park, it will be a great addition to the community.”

The park will be located at the Perth East Recreation Complex and anyone in the community will be able to use it, anytime, at no charge.
