Stratford Police are searching for a driver after a hit and run in the city.
Shortly before 1 o’clock Saturday morning, police say they were notified about the single-vehicle collision on Ontario Street, near Queen Street.
The vehicle had driven off the road, struck a hydro pole, and knocked it down.
Surveillance footage shows a passenger from the vehicle getting out of it in a nearby parking lot, surveying the damage, and then getting back into it and driving away.
The vehicle was later identified as a grey Toyota Matrix with damage to the front driver’s side corner.
Anyone with information on the collision is asked to call police or Crime Stoppers.
