Tributes continue for the humanitarian efforts of a local woman.
Jean Aitcheson was recognized earlier this week by the Township of Perth South.
Earlier this year, Aitcheson was one of sixteen people to receive the 2022 Ontario Senior Achievement Award.
She was also appointed a member of the Order of Canada late last year.
Aitcheson created the Stratford Mission Depot in 1985 which collects and distributes medical supplies to places around the world that need them the most.
Perth South Council presented her with a Certificate of Recognition for her work.
