St. Marys looking for submissions for its Green Initiatives Awareness Program

The Town of St. Marys is looking for ways to help reduce waste and emissions.

As part of its Green Initiatives Awareness Program the town is asking businesses in the light and general industrial sector to submit their strategies to reduce their environmental impact and improve sustainability.  Those businesses include factories and factory outlets; car dealerships, car washes and mechanics; lumber, salvage, and wrecking yards; contractors and others.

Town staff will review the submissions and choose the one that best fits the criteria.  It will then be promoted through its communication channels leading up to Earth Day on April 22nd.

Submissions are being accepted until March 17th on the Town of St. Marys website.
