Letter sent to Stratford homeowners explaining water and sewer line responsibilities and optional protection plan

The City of Stratford is letting homeowners that may have received a letter from Service Line Warranties of Canada (SLWC) they are legit.

The city has partnered with the organization and the letter is meant to inform homeowners of their responsibilities to maintain, repair, and replace exterior water and sewer lines that connect to the city’s utilities.

It also gives information about an optional water and sewer line repair plan through the company.

The city stresses the program is optional and has been vetted locally.  SLWC encourages anyone who is interested to contact their insurance provider to discuss their current coverage and options available.

More information about the program is available by calling Service Line Warranties of Canada at 1-844-616-8444 or on the City of Stratford website.
