Perth-Wellington MP says budget doesn’t help where needed

Nater says the plan doesn’t have any help to deal with high inflation or rising taxes.

Nater points to rural broadband as one issue that he’d like to see addressed with many areas still without access to high-speed internet.

He says his party will continue to focus on advocating to make life more affordable.

Finance Minister Chrystia Freeland tabled the 2023 budget in Ottawa on Tuesday which comes in with a much higher deficit, $43 billion, than the $36.4 billion previously forecasted.
