Perth County Paramedics are celebrating a milestone.
Their Community Paramedicine Program recently held its first full education day geared towards supporting the community in a more chronic capacity.
The program’s goal, officials say, is to encourage fewer hospital visits and maintain clients’ independence at home.
They say they fill the gaps, ensuring clients get the help they need until other Community Care Partners can get involved.
The program’s team has also grown from 4 members to over a dozen.
