Three rain gardens will soon be set up at the Stratford All-Wheels Park.
Work is taking place this week to install the gardens that help collect rainwater and manage stormwater runoff.
The three rain gardens planned for the All-Wheels Park will be planted with native wildflowers that will also create a habitat for a variety of pollinators.
Officials say there will be a community education component included with the project to explain the functions and benefits of it.
Funding for the work is coming from a number of different partners including the Province of Ontario.
