New directional signage now in place in St.Marys

New directional signage is welcoming visitors to St.Marys.
Officials say the 70 new signs are part of the municipality’s Signage and Wayfinding Strategy, a multi-year project led by its Tourism and Economic Development department.
The idea was first developed by a consultant in 2017 following a public engagement campaign amd they identify key destinations.
Among the locations the directions point to are the St. Marys Quarry, Pyramid Recreation Centre, and the Canadian Baseball Hall of Fame and Museum.
The signs will be complemented by new informational trail signs, a new electronic sign at the Pyramid Recreation Centre, and a new visitors’ sign.
