Celebration being held for Stratford Public Library’s Library Garden Renewal project

It’s almost time to celebrate now that the Stratford Public Library’s Library Garden Renewal project is complete.

The project, which includes a redesign, replant, and refresh of the library’s main garden, began in 2021 and was finished late last year.

“This renewal of the Library Garden exemplifies the 57-year partnership between the Stratford Public Library and Garden Stratford, creating a beautiful and welcoming space at the Library. Our volunteers take great pride in caring for the garden, and supporting Garden Stratford’s mission of beautifying public spaces.” says Mike Matthews, President, Stratford and District Horticultural Society.

A celebration of the project will be held on Monday, May 29th at 6 p.m. in the library garden.

After a short ceremony, there will be an opportunity to tour the garden.
