Another area hospital is changing its Emergency Department hours because of staffing shortages.

The St.Marys Memorial Hospital will be closing its emergency department at 5 o’clock Saturday afternoon.

It will reopen at 7 o’clock Sunday morning with regular, 24-hour, service resuming.

The closest 24-hour Emergency Departments to the St. Marys Memorial Hospital are:
Stratford – HPHA – Stratford General Hospital

Ingersoll – Alexandra Hospital*
London – LHSC– University Hospital or Victoria Hospital

*It is advised to check with these Emergency Departments before attending to ensure they are operating with regular hours.
