Stratford Police charge two teens in drug and weapons investigation

Two teens face charges after an investigation by Stratford Police.

Police say they arrested three people on Shakespeare Street in Stratford last Thursday night, a 19-year-old and 17-year-old both from London, and a 16-year-old from Stratford.

SPS says the three were known to them and they had received information that the 17-year-old was in possession of a firearm.

A loaded .22 caliber handgun was found on the teen as was a knife, four grams of fentanyl, cash, and other drug-related items.

The 16-year-old was released without charges while the 19-year-old wanted on other charges, will appear in court in July.

The 17-year-old faces numerous weapons and drugs charges and was held in custody.
