The ground has been broken at the Milverton All Wheels Park.
Organizers say the effort to make the project a reality began in 2020 when several members of the Optimist Club of Mornington formed the Milverton All Wheels Park committee and began working with Perth East Council.
The club held a roll-a-thon last September to raise awareness of the project.
So far, $277,000 of the $287,000 price tag has been raised through fundraising and construction is expected to be completed by the end of the month.
A grand opening for the park is scheduled for September, 9th.
