Police: Firearms, $90K in illicit drugs and $220K in property seized from Kitchener home

There’s been another major drug bust in the area.

Huron County OPP says illicit drugs including fentanyl, meth, and crack cocaine with a street value of over $90,000 was seized after the Huron Perth Community Street Crime Unit executed a search warrant at a home on Fernwood Place in Kitchener.

Gold and silver bars, as well as stolen firearms, were also removed by police.

A 39-year-old Kitchener man faces 17 drug and weapons charges.

He is being held in custody until he appears in court on Thursday.

The investigation continues.
