Perth County has an updated Corporate Strategic Plan in place.
At their regular meeting Thursday morning, council approved the modified plan that was needed after the last plan was used from 2019 to 2022.
Work started last January to update the plan, to be used until 2026, and officials say it establishes the core vision, mission, and values of the municipality while also creating clear goals and priorities to guide programs and the work of the staff throughout the term of council.
It’s broken down into five categories including growth and economic development and customer service excellence.
