A police dog is dead after a drug call in our area.
Woodstock Police say they were helping Stratford Police with an investigation on Monday when two of their police services dogs, Tazz and Striker, appeared to ingest drugs.
Both were rushed to a veterinarian clinic where Tazz passed away with Striker getting better and returning home.
PSD Tazz first joined the Woodstock Police Service in 2021 and he was deployed last year.
The suspects involved have been arrested and charged.
