A gastrointestinal outbreak has been declared over at the St.Marys Memorial Hospital.
Huron Perth Healthcare Alliance officials say it was first declared on the inpatient unit on June 29th and the virus was identified as the Norovirus.
Norovirus is commonly referred to as the stomach flu and causes an infection in the stomach and intestines.
Visitors are reminded about the importance of handwashing when spending time with their loved ones in a hospital and that they should not visit if feeling unwell.
