Over 1,000 kids took part in swimming lessons at the Stratford Lions Pool this summer.
Staff at the pool say thirty youths also successfully completed lifesaving Bronze Medallion and Bronze Cross courses and will one day become certified Swim Instructor/Lifeguards in the community.
As of Monday, the pool switched into a post-season swim schedule which will remain in place until September 2nd.
The Stratford and District Labour Council is sponsoring a free swim from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. on Sunday as the final swim of the 2023 season.
