United Way Perth-Huron 2024 Annual Campaign kicking off on Friday

It’s a sure sign that fall is almost here as the United Way Perth-Huron is ready to kick off its 2024 Annual Campaign.

The kick-off lunch for the campaign is taking place at Market Square in Stratford at noon on Friday where the goal for the year will be announced as the UWPH continues to confront issues like homelessness, mental health, and access to services.

Elizabeth Cooper with the UWPH says they have set a high goal for how much they want to raise in 2024 as the cost of living continues to rise.

“Some of us are only $200 away from not being able to pay our bills, those people live among us and it’s a real number that we will be presenting.”

Tickets for the lunch are $20 in advance and $22 at the door with more details on the UWPH website.
