UPDATE: COVID-19 outbreak declared over at Stratford General Hospital

A COVID-19 outbreak at the Stratford General Hospital has been declared over.

It had been declared on the Medicine Unit on September 12th and Huron Perth Public Health officials say immediate precautions were implemented, including prevalence testing for patients.

The unit has been reopened to admissions and transfers with family and caregivers allowed back in.

You’re being encouraged to stay up-to-date with your vaccines/boosters, wear a mask when in crowded indoor public spaces, wash your hands often, and stay home if you are feeling sick.
