A new Stratford citizen’s group is working to address what they say is a lack of appropriate housing in the city.
In collaboration with the Local Community Food Centre, the Stratford Affordable Housing Alliance says it has a fast-growing membership and is becoming more active in the community.
The group’s next meeting is on Thursday, September 28th at 5:30 p.m. at St. Andrew’s Church, where they hope to set goals for action.
The group says it’s petitioning Stratford City Council to work with them in creating and implementing a Proportionally Mixed Income Affordable Housing Plan.
