We have to take a moment to celebrate the great things in our community.
That’s what Stratford Mayor Martin Ritsma says was behind his first community breakfast event that was held at the Best Western Plus-The Arden Park Hotel on Thursday morning.
An audience of around 150 community members came together to hear from Ritsma and a presentation on the Rotary Hospice Stratford Perth.
Ritsma says a good word to describe the breakfast is emotional.
“In a community like ours, it is very easy to reach out at arm’s length and have friends around you that make the community a special place.”
Ritsma adds he’s already looking forward to another amazing get-together next year.
