Stratford City Council continues to search for options when it comes to local rail service.
At their regular meeting Tuesday night, council voted to to pursue alternatives to the Go Train service trial run that will come to an end as of this Friday.
Staff will investigate alternatives for connecting to passenger rail options and will also work with other levels of government to that end.
Council also heard from an area resident during the meeting who pointed to the environment, costs, and connectivity as reasons to find a rail solution that will work going forward.
