More electric vehicle charging stations now available in Stratford

Electric vehicle owners now have more places to charge up in Stratford.

Six new Level 2 EV charging stations are now available in the municipal parking lot at the corner of Erie Street and St. Patrick Street.

Four Level 2 charging ports will also be installed in the Albert lot in the coming weeks.

It’s being done through support from Natural Resources Canada and its Zero Emission Vehicle Infrastructure Program.

By the end of the project in January 2025, a total of 23 new charging ports will be available in downtown city parking lots, including a new Level 3 fast charging station.
