Members of the Stratford Police force are getting a raise.
The Stratford Police Services Board and the Stratford Police Association have struck a new four-year deal with an annual 2.5 per cent wage increase.
An improved benefits package, post-retirement benefits, and a new “part-time” policing program are also included in the agreement.
SPS serves the municipalities of Stratford, Perth South, and St Marys with approximately ninety staff members responding to over 20,000 calls annually.
