The St.Marys Friendship Centre will be staying cool thanks to a $144,000 grant from the Ontario Trillium Foundation.
The money will go towards replacing the aging heating, ventilation and air conditioning system in the building.
The new HVAC system is expected to be in place next year.
The centre provides critical services to older adults, people recovering from injury and those with varying abilities.
