A staffing shortage at the St.Marys Memorial Hospital is prompting the overnight closure of its emergency department.
The department will close at 5 p.m. Thursday and reopen at 7 a.m. Friday with regular 24-hour service resuming.
If you need medical attention and live in St.Marys, you should still call 9-1-1 and paramedics will reroute to the nearest available emergency department.
