Starbucks is not locating at the former EB Games location

Stratford Mall is gearing up for a tasty transformation with the arrival of a new, “food brand” set to replace EB Games, which is no longer a tenant.

Despite rumours of a Starbucks, General Manager of Stratford Mall, Allison Ballantyne, confirmed otherwise, saying, “We are finalizing this new tenant and will make an announcement shortly.”

There is a Starbucks location currently inside Zehrs Stratford. There are nearly 1,500 locations in Canada.

The former EB Games location is a stand-alone building adjacent to the main mall.

Following the success of the Firehouse Subs addition last year, the move reflects Stratford Mall’s dedication to adapt and serve its diverse customer base.

With a rich legacy dating back to the mid-1970s and hosting more than 40 retail stores and services, the mall continues to be a cornerstone of the community.

The mall underwent renovations in 2023 to the exterior and food court. The mall includes larger retailers such as Canadian Tire, mixed with smaller retailers.
